.About the DMEA

DMEA is the place to be for everything around digital health. 700 exhibitors and over 16.000 participants meet in the exhibition halls of Berlin to gain exclusive insights into the health-market, exchange thoughts and ideas and to network. To highlight the importance of contribution and value of partnerships within the German healthcare sector, they invite a narrow selection of AWS partners to present their pioneering collaborations within the healthcare sector.

.Why we are selected

As one of the 3 AWS Security Competency Partners within the DACH Region, we have been working closely with one of the biggest health-insurance companies in Germany to provide a secure cloud platform for service development and operations ever since 2020.

What makes this collaboration even more special is the health industry's strictly regulated guidelines, all of which needed consideration, including endpoint monitoring, while maintaining project agility. We established a secure, multi-account AWS environment based on security best practices and compliance with standards such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Another exciting project we worked on was the support of a HealthTech company with their C5 certification. This is a framework developed by the Bundesamt für Sicherheit Informationstechnik (BSI). It's essentially a set of standards and guidelines designed to ensure security and compliance of cloud services, particularly in Germany and the wider European Union.

.C5 Compliance for Health

Until July 2024, all companies that process health data in the cloud must have a C5 certificate (type 1) and by July 2025 a C5 certificate (type 2). Our C5 compliance for health services will evaluate your status and assist you in implementing best practices to prepare for the C5 certifications.
